Origins
In Brazil meats roasted on a wood grill are called "Churrasco". The wording mimics the hissing of the fat dripping into the fire. This type of meat is very popular in Argentina and Brazil. Almost every village in South America has a "Churrascaria" restaurant. These are often simply furnished premises operating on an "all-you-can-eat" principle.
In Stansstad "RIO churrasco" welcomes you. We prepare the meats in the traditional churrasco style and serve them à discrétion. However, there are certainly no simple furnishings here. Enjoy the evening in stylish ambience, with the mighty wood grill right in the middle of the dining area.

Every guest gets a "beer coaster" in two different colours. If the green side is active, our team will regularly bring you freshly grilled meats. If you feel you have had enough for now and wish to take a break or even stop altogether, then turn the beer coaster to red.
We hope that your appetite is already growing just from reading this.
